In Poland, there are no standardized screening tests for reading disabilities. Teachers are responsible for identifying students with reading and writing difficulties and for recommending a course of action such as remedial teaching.

Instruction for Children with Reading Difficulties

Students with reading disabilities attend remedial classes within their school, usually following their regular classes. In most schools, remedial classes are managed by an elementary teacher who often also teaches students in regular classes.
